The Complete Deel Integration Guide

Deel makes it possible to pay and manage workers almost anywhere, which puts a lot of important data in one system. When that data reaches your carriers by hand, distance and time zones only add to the risk. A worker added in Deel who never enrolls with the carrier, or one who leaves but keeps generating charges, is the kind of gap that is easy to miss and expensive to unwind.
Connecting Deel to Benefit Cloud gives your worker and payroll data a secure, automated path to your benefits ecosystem. Records flow on a schedule, feeds stay accurate, and the manual steps disappear.
Deel uses an API client model. You create a client in Settings, and Deel generates a Client ID and Client Secret for it. An admin account is required. Here is how.
Step 1: Open the Deel API Settings
Deel provides API access through your organization settings. An admin must create an API client to generate credentials.
Sign in to your Deel account as an admin.
Go to Settings, then Integrations, then API.
Click Create API Client or Add New Application.
Name the client, for example Benefit Cloud Integration, and save.
Step 2: Copy Your Client Credentials
Deel generates a Client ID and Client Secret for the client. Copy the secret immediately, because it is shown only once. Keep both values secure until you submit them.
Step 3: Submit Your Credentials to Benefit Cloud
Submit the Client ID and Client Secret through the secure Benefit Cloud portal, where they are encrypted on submission. Benefit Cloud uses the Deel API in read-only mode to retrieve worker and payroll data for benefits processing. We do not write back to Deel or modify any worker records.
What Happens Next
Benefit Cloud reviews and tests the connection, maps your data to your feed requirements, and confirms once the integration is active. Your data then syncs automatically going forward.
